We launched the HashPack Store back in April as a way to revolutionise the way you experience and interact with utility-driven NFTs. Since then, we’ve released over a dozen HashPack theme NFTs, and enabled the profile system which unlocks new ways to personalise your HashPack experience.
There are currently four types of themes:
The default themes which are built-in to HashPack. There’s the original theme, a light theme, and an OLED theme, which is a darker version of the original for users with OLED displays.
These are basic colour themes, unlimited in supply and available forever from the HashPack Store.
These themes have more design flair, different typefaces, and unique colour combinations. They will be unlimited in supply and only available for a limited time in the HashPack Store – but may return from time to time.
Seasonal themes are limited edition themes available to redeem during certain holiday periods. We recently launched our first seasonal HashPack Halloween theme. The Halloween Theme will be available to claim from the HashPack Store until October 31st. One theme redeemable per account.
There’s also an exclusive gold theme that is unlocked for all Gold HashPack holders, allowing you to change the UI of your wallet to express your exclusive status as a true HashPack fan.
As a token of our appreciation, Gold Supporter holders will also enjoy a 15% discount on all themes purchased in the HashPack Store. Furthermore, as the themes are NFT collectibles, you'll be able to trade and sell them with other users.
As well as themes, there are even more ways to personalise your HashPack experience. You can enable any compatible Hedera web3 domain name as your username, and also set any NFT you own as a profile picture.
Themes, domain names and NFT profile pictures are all used in multiple places throughout HashPack, such as on the login screen, Secure Trade, transaction screen and SentX marketplace listings.
HashPack profiles can also be leveraged by other Hedera dApps. If you're a developer and you'd like early access to this system please reach out on Discord.
Now we've learnt about HashPack themes and profiles, let’s run through how to purchase theme NFTs and enable them in HashPack.
Using the HashPack Store couldn't be easier!
From the home screen, press the Store icon in the top right corner. Or click this direct link to launch the store in HashPack.
Select the theme you'd like to buy. For this example, we're going to purchase the Halloween 2023 Theme.
Once you're happy with your selection, press the Checkout button at the bottom of the page.
Confirm your purchase by pressing the Buy NFT button. The NFT will be associated automatically and any network fees will automatically be deducted from your account.
Congratulations! You've now purchased your first HashPack Theme NFT.
Now you’ve purchased your theme, you'll need to enable it.
From the home screen, press the Menu icon in the top right corner.
Then, press Customize.
From here, there’s three ways to personalise your HashPack experience: Username, Account Picture and Theme.
You can set any compatible Hedera web3 domain name, such as .hbar. This domain name can be used to send and receive transactions instead of using your normal Hedera account ID (e.g. 0.0.1234567).
You can select any NFT you own to become your account profile picture. This is displayed in the top left of your HashPack wallet, along with your username.
Simply select any theme you own to enable it for your current account.
And you're done! Here's what a complete personalised HashPack wallet looks like, with a custom profile picture, username and theme enabled. Happy customising!
Remember, as most themes are NFT collectibles, you'll be able to trade and sell them with other users. If you no longer own the theme NFT, you’ll be unable to set the theme from the Customize menu.
